I would say this is lighter than petrichor and has a bit more of something that I can't exactly place that separates it. I would suggest getting the sample pack and see which one you like better. "Very good, but close to indistinguishable (to me) from the petrichor scent. Was hoping this would take a bit of a different direction. Still smells great, petrichor is my favorite and I’ve bought at least 6 of them. Perhaps this is more of a profile of how it would smell in the east coast; desert rain storms (especially in the urban areas) have a very unique scent that I’m hoping will one day be captured in a candle from here—these are the best I’ve ever bought."
