As someone who grew up in the Northeast, this is incredibly accurate. I love the accessibility with sliding scale pricing as well as recycled glass and zero plastic packaging. Alatreyu is doing great work and I look forward to buying more! I think Leaves is next!

This Petrichor candle delivers! The scent is complex; ozone notes really come through unlike any other candle I've smelled. This candle fills the room with waves of scent. To my nose, the earthy notes are definitely the strongest but the other notes definitely come through as the scent lingers. Alatreyu has got the perfect formula. If you are looking for that after the rain on the East Coast, smell this is it. If you're looking for that Sonoran desert/West Coast after the rain smell, the Creosote is the one.

I really like how Alatreyu made the distinction between the Petrichor and the Creosote. I bought the Creosote as well because I was curious how different these two candles would be. After living on both coast and appreciating the rain, I love that I can have the nostalgic scents to remind me of days past. I'm obsessed with these candles!
