Pine

Makes my room smell like a Christmas tree! Love it. The only suggestion I would make is I would love a stronger "earthier" undertone to the pine smell. But as it is right now, the candle smells great.

I got the sample kit first, which I’m super glad I did. I was surprised by which scents I ended up liking and disliking. 3 scents stood out to me, biblichor, pine and clove. Because of the pick your price and the $4 coupon to go towards my candle purchase, I was able to get all 3! They came well packaged, and the candles are so cute. The scents are just as good in person! Though I will say a little on the subtle side, so don’t expect a single candle to fill a big room with scent. The biblichor candle is by far my favorite and will definitely be a repeat purchase for me. 100% would recommend anyone give this brand a try!

I know it sounds counterintuitive for someone who lost their sense of smell to buy candles, but that just makes it so I care more about the quality of the wax and the ingredients that go in it versus the smell. So while I can’t comment on the scent, I am always looking for a long lasting, clean burning candle, and these check all those boxes. I bought the pine (was my favorite scent) and petrichor just as an ambient piece to put in my apartment and I am very happy with the quality of everything. I have burned the Pine candle for a total of 7-8 hours and it’s only a 1/3 of the way gone. While it was burning there was never any black smoke or uneven melting of the wax. The jar stays clean, no sign of soot or smoke build up anywhere. Everything has remained perfect. Every detail was thought out, from the packaging, to the ingredients and it really shows. I highly recommend checking them out, and I’m sure you’ll also have a positive experience with whatever product you end up choosing.

I’m a fan of subtle candle scents but the Pine was a bit too subtle. I live in a small apartment and wanted the pine for the holidays, but it didn’t make music an impact on the ambient scent. I love the other Alatreyu scents I’ve tried though!
