Hot metallic air surrounds you as you hear the thunder of an approaching storm. This candle is inspired by the sharp, ozone-like scent that precedes lightning strikes. Undertones of petrichor and wet concrete sit under a sharp, metallic top note, creating a scent profile that reminds me of peak summer heat right before a storm.

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.
Your candle arrives with the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch. A long wick makes more soot.
Let wax melt to the edge of the glass on the first burn.
A part-melted pool leaves a tunnel in the wax. A tunnel cuts the burn time of your candle. The first burn takes 3 to 4 hours.
Burn the candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
A longer burn makes the glass too hot to touch. It also reduces the total burn time.
Caution. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and drafts.
