I was skeptical but it sure does smell like creosote. Smelling the candle directly has a hint of wax but when it burns it's very earthy and aromatic.
I grew up in the Southwest desert in Texas. This creosote candle smells just like home. I don’t know how they got that aroma just right, but they did. I absolutely love it.
Smells almost exactly like the desert after rain. The only thing missing is the “ dirt “ smell. The creosote scent is spot on, but very lightly scented.
